The Her-Freedom Movement
Her-Freedom Corporation is a charitable/non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose core mission is to provide beautiful, love-filled care packages and empowering educational resources for repressed women.
Repressed (adj.) "ri'prest"
1. restrained, prevented, inhibited, or oppressed (the expression or development of something), especially a thought, feeling, or desire
2. characterized by restraint
3. someone or something subdued by force
4. suppression of a thought, feeling, or desire in oneself so that it becomes or remains unconscious
Because feelings of repression are deeply personal and women experiencing this feeling cannot be easily identified with the naked eye, we welcome all women who personally identify with the experience or feeling of 'repression'.
There are many reasons why a woman may feel repressed; she may feel that her personal voice, perspectives, or desires have been repressed within her home or religious institution, in her relationships or friendships, or even within her profession or professional environment.
Our mission is to aid women in the process of self-knowledge and awareness, self-determination, self-advocacy, and the healthy, unapologetic expression of their personal truths.
The Her-Freedom Movement endorses the following core ideals for women domestically and abroad who are seeking greater freedom and personal fulfillment:
- Self-knowledge and awareness
- Self-determination
- Self-Advocacy & Self-Reliance
- Respect for boundaries and personal dignity
- Financial Autonomy
- Positive & Productive Partnership
- Creative, Religious, & Personal Freedom
Care Packages are hand-delivered on Valentine’s Day, Mother's Day, & Christmas.
